If he's going to play a native from Pittsburgh (which someone with the name "Yablonski" surely is), he'll have to learn Pittsburghese.

Scrubbing his hands for surgery is enough for him.
I'm thinking they need to hire you to write a few episodes.
I really like the way your mind works!
...and maybe add how he is a very unconventional surgeon, who only feels comfortable operating while shirtless.

Remember how we all fell in love with Alex's hands when he was playing Mick? Well, a surgeon's instrument is his hands, so maybe we'll be seeing a lot of those lovely hands. Only hitch, those blasted plastic gloves!

He could wear the scrubs like DR. 90210 does....sans sleeves. Nah! On second thought, as much as I would love to see the guns and the tats, that look is sooooooo NOT manly. At least on Dr. 90210 it isn't.Fleur de Lisa wrote:GuardianAngel wrote:Naw. No Yablonski's in Oz. As a medical professional (and married to a doc) I feel that I can contribute a costume suggestion:

Oh man SS~~~you are correct there!!! Dr. 90210 with the sleeveless scrubs, the opposite of sexy.
I can see Alex rockin' some scrubs. With short sleeves. That expose forearm tats.

Yeah well... that guy kinda reminds me of Dr. Anders from FtP anyway... a bit overly taken with himself... and likely eventually to get his teeny tiny @ss kicked...SirenSong wrote: He could wear the scrubs like DR. 90210 does....sans sleeves. Re: Alex is lead in Three Rivers
Just to correct a wrong assumption ladies. Australia has heaps of Poles (and every other nationality under the sun). We may have started very Anglo Saxon two hundred years ago, but had a population boost after the second world war.
My daughter has a Polish friend. His name is Wojtek...can't even pronouce his last name. I know this has nothing to do with this role (and of course I don't think Andy Yablonski will be Aussie), but I thought you might like to know that.

Yeah... but for his patients' sake, I hope Dr. Andy uses rubber gloves when he performs medical procedures.
